For 20 years, the Archdiocese has provided Safe Environment training to help properly respond and prevent sexual abuse of children by those who serve the church. Anyone working or volunteering with children or youth is required to take an in-person training workshop provided for free by the Archdiocese. A new policy requires a refresher of this course every 5 years. If you have not taken this workshop, or wish to attend in-person for your refresher, the next local training will be Tuesday, August 17, 2026 at St. Joseph Bardstown. The refresher course may also be taken online at https://louisville.cmgconnect.org/. Instructions to help set up your account may be found on our website under documents. Other in-person workshop dates can be found at www.archlou.org under the tabs About/Arch. Policies/Restoring Trust.
We are happy to announce that St. Gregory, Parish and School, has secured a subscription to FORMED, a premier Catholic online platform. FORMED has content from over 60 apostolates, including Augustine Institute, Ignatius Press, and the Knights of Columbus, with material that is professionally produced, engaging, and solid in its catechism. Resources available through FORMED will be incorporated into ministries within our Parish and School life. Parish staff members are already planning Religious Education and Bible Study sessions using these resources. We invite our parishioners and school families to access these materials, free of charge. Downloading the FORMED app will enable increased access on mobile devices. To gain access to all of FORMED's content, follow these steps: *Go to https://signup.formed.org/ *Enter our Parish zip code (40013) *Enter your name and your email address That's it! Now you can download the FORMED app for your mobile device by searching FORMED Catholic in your app store. We look forward to the possibilities that this subscription offers our Parish and School.
